He became involved with the Dada movement and helped spread its influence in Spain, France, and the United States. He later explored diverse styles, ranging from the “Monsters” series to abstract painting associated with Art Informel.\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u003cbr\u003e\u0026lt;br\u0026gt;\u003cbr\u003e\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Among his most important exhibitions were Section d’Or (1912) and, in 1913, his participation in the Armory Show in New York.
