Since First Collectors, the programme to support collecting and promoting contemporary art, managed by Arte Global and sponsored by Fundación Banco Santander, was launched in 2011, many interested parties have benefited from this proposal. For the twelfth consecutive year, ARCOmadrid will offer this service designed for all those who wish to enter the world of art collecting and investment, receiving free, personalized advice. Arte Global experts, headed by Elisa Hernando, offer individualized purchasing proposals according to the preferences and profile of the interested party, taking into account the works that the participating galleries bring to the fair.
“During these eleven years of service, Arte Global has advised more than 500 collectors with budgets ranging from 500 to 200,000 euros, and it has been confirmed that at least 49.9% of the participants acquire a piece” confirms Elisa Hernando, founder of Arte Global and RedCollectors, and one of the most accredited voices of collecting in Spain.
For its part, Fundación Banco Santander, through its support for this initiative, reaffirms once again its commitment to collecting and its relevance for the promotion of contemporary art in our country.
