Elisa Hernando

CEO and founder of Arte Global

Elisa Hernando (Madrid, 1973) holds a PhD in Economics, Business and Art History from the Autonomous University of Madrid. After working at The Bank of New York, Citibank and as director of two art galleries, she founded Arte Global (2003) and RedCollectors (2017).

Elisa Hernando has been a professor of Art Economics and Appraisal at the Antonio Nebrija University since 2006; she has published in various scientific journals such as the International Journal of Arts Management. She is a lecturer on collecting and the market at the Juan March Foundation, the University of Applied Sciences for Business, Vienna, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, and the Menéndez Pelayo University, among others. She has curated exhibitions at various museums and institutions such as the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, MUSAC, León; the National Gallery of Fine Arts, Jordan, Amman; among others.
