The program is managed by the collectors’ consultancy Arte Global, under the direction of Elisa Hernando, and is sponsored by Fundación Santander. Hernando, founder and director of Arte Global, explains that the initiative was born out of the scale of the fair:
“This year we have more than two hundred galleries and thousands of artists; it’s easy for someone to feel lost. Our aim is to recommend ten or twenty galleries that best match the buyer’s taste and budget. It’s an approach that works, which is why we have been doing it for so long.”
With this initiative, Arte Global has established itself as a benchmark in international art advisory and contemporary art collecting, offering personalized guidance that helps new collectors enter both the Spanish and international markets.
