15/10/2025 ArteGlobaL celebra su 22º aniversario con un ciclo de “Subastas con Propósito”

Madrid, October 15 , 2025. ArteGlobaL , a pioneering art consultancy in Spain, celebrates its 22nd anniversary with the launch of “Auctions with Purpose,” an annual series of four charity auctions supporting various social causes.

“We want to celebrate 22 years of ArteGlobaL, transforming admiration for art into tangible action. This auction unites artists, galleries, collectors, and the public around an exceptional catalog whose value is multiplied by its real impact,” says Elisa Hernando, CEO of ArteGlobaL.

The first auction will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at the Pons Foundation (C/ Serrano 138, Madrid), and will support the humanitarian work of the Effective Aid Foundation. Bidding is now open and can be done online.

The catalog —curated by the ArteGlobaL team and contributed by artists, collectors, and galleries—brings together works by great masters (Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse) alongside pieces by highly successful artists such as Ana Barriga, Álvaro Borobio, and Juan Díaz - Faes, among others. The complete selection, with details and photographs, can be found on the official website: arteglobal.es/pages/subasta .

Why vitamin A?

Vitamin A deficiency is one of the leading causes of blindness and child mortality in the poorest countries. Each year, between 250,000 and 500,000 children lose their sight due to a deficiency of this essential vitamin. Half of them die within the next 12 months. The donated proceeds will fund the Effective Aid Foundation's vitamin A supplementation program, implemented by Helen Keller International in sub-Saharan African countries such as Mali, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso, where vitamin A deficiency is a public health problem. Specifically, the program aims to provide regular doses of vitamin A to all children between 6 months and 5 years of age in at-risk areas. These doses are dispensed every four to six months. Effective Aid estimates that every 4,000 euros donated to this cause will supplement 1,800 children with vitamin A and save one life.

Pre-sale and online bidding
The works will be on public display from Monday, November 3rd to Thursday, November 6th at the Pons Foundation. The online catalog and silent bidding are now available and will remain open until November 6th.

Starting prices and accessibility
The auction offers starting prices from €260, with lots reaching the five-figure range.

100% of the ticket donations and a significant portion of the proceeds will go to the Effective Aid Vitamin A program.

“Every bid and every donation translates into measurable results. Vitamin A supplementation is a simple and proven intervention that improves and saves lives today,” says Pablo Melchor, President of the Effective Aid Foundation.
