Eduard Arranz Bravo (Spain, 1941–2023) studied at the San Jorge School of Fine Arts in Barcelona and at the International School of Mural Painting in Sant Cugat del Vallès between 1959 and 1962. During the 1970s, he collaborated with Rafael Lozano Bartolozzi on projects involving painting, sculpture, assemblage, books, and happenings.

His early works were part of the Informalism movement, which he abandoned in 1961 following a trip to Italy and his exposure to Caravaggio’s naturalism. His later work combines elements of Surrealism and Pop Art, frequently featuring the human figure to address the problems of contemporary humanity. Among his works are the exterior installation at the Típel factory in Parets del Vallès, created with Bartolozzi in 1971, and the print series "Mettiers Inconnus" and "Moments".

He represented Spain at the 39th Venice Biennale and held solo and group exhibitions in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Stockholm, New York, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro. His work is included in the collections of the Reina Sofía National Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, the São Paulo Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Vitoria.
