Koichi Okada was a Japanese artist (Tokyo, Japan, 1907-1991) primarily associated with landscape painting and woodblock printing. He trained under Ishii Hakutei and Arishima Ikuma and participated in official exhibitions such as the Teiten and Nitten.

His work focuses especially on the depiction of the Japanese landscape, with a notable interest in Mount Fuji. He is known for a series of woodblock prints published by Unsodo in Kyoto, in which he combines a refined composition with a modern view of the traditional landscape.

He was a member of the Issuikai art group and his work circulated both in national exhibitions and through print editions aimed at an international audience. His graphic production, especially the views of Mount Fuji, constitutes the most recognized part of his career today.
