Paul Delvaux (Wanze, 1897 - Veurene, 1994) was a Belgian artist who studied architecture and decorative painting at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.

His work is characterized by quiet, enigmatic scenes featuring female figures, classical architecture, trains, stations, and skeletons. Using these elements, he constructed a visual world of his own—one close to dreams and mystery—where eroticism, memory, solitude, and strangeness coexist. In addition to painting, he also worked in printmaking.

His work is included in collections such as MoMA, the Tate, the Centre Pompidou, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Mu.ZEE, Musea Brugge, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. In 1982, the Paul Delvaux Museum, dedicated to his work, opened in Saint-Idesbald, Belgium. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Fine Arts of Belgium since 1958.
