Rosa Torres is a Spanish artist (Valencia, Spain, 1948), whose work develops across painting and printmaking. She studied Fine Arts at the San Carlos School in Valencia and, early in her career, was linked to the context of the Valencian avant-garde, collaborating with Equipo Crónica.

Her work is known for the synthesis of forms, the use of flat colors, and a constant focus on landscape, light, and nature. Starting from an approach close to figuration, Torres reduces the anecdotal elements of the image to build compositions of great visual clarity, where color and structure play a central role.

Her work is part of collections such as the Museo Reina Sofía, IVAM, Fundació Vila Casas, and MACVAC. She took part in the 1982 Venice Biennale and has presented exhibitions in institutions such as Museo Reina Sofía and Fundación Bancaja.
