MATERIALS AND CARE

 Recommendations for proper conservation of works of art:

  • Keep artwork away from direct sunlight and any other heat sources (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging artwork near areas with smoke and pollution (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We recommend protecting your artwork with a glass frame.

Avoid sudden temperature changes. It is recommended to store paintings in areas with a room temperature of 18-20°C and 50% relative humidity.

If you want to permanently illuminate the work, we recommend using cold light sources. Use a soft duster for periodic cleaning. Never use household cleaners.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping usually takes around 7 days. Shipping costs are determined based on the gallery's location and the size of the artwork. Packaging material costs are included.

Purchases made through Arte Global’s website (www.arteglobal.es) can be canceled within 24 hours. After this period, the purchase is considered final.

Information about the work

Sam Cox, better known as Mr. Doodle (Kent, 1994), is a British artist famous for his style, which he describes as "obsessive-compulsive." Since childhood, he doodled everything in his path, creating what he calls DoodleLand. His pop visual language—evident in all his works, including "Candy Flowers"—influenced by Keith Haring and video games, brings together dense monochromatic patterns—lines, symbols, characters—in improvised compositions that cover canvases, objects, and even entire rooms. In 2019, he realized his dream by covering every corner of his Kent mansion: 900 L of paint, hundreds of markers, and aerosol cans for over two years. His art has gone viral on social media and has earned him collaborations with Adidas, MTV, and Nike, as well as international exhibitions. Through live actions—such as murals in the subway and museums—he transforms every surface into a contagious graphic mosaic that invites you to immerse yourself in his very distinctive visual universe.

Behind the pseudonym 'Mr. Doodle' is the English artist Sam Cox, who stood out from a young age with his creative ideas, doodles that turned out to be the personal touch that has led him to distinguish himself in the world of graphic art. Born in 1994 in the city of Kent, in the United Kingdom, Sam Cox describes what he does as 'OCD - obsessive-compulsive drawing' (which is like a joke translated to 'obsessive compulsive drawing', but it doesn't seem like such a joke). What began as a youthful scribbling in his textbooks and his parents' furniture has become not only a professional career but an entire new universe called 'DoodleLand'. In interviews with the artist, it's hard to tell if he truly believes this place of white space and endless scribbling is another reality. Over the years, Cox has gained a reputation, and his clients include MTV, Adidas, Puma, and Cass Art, working with people who clearly love what he calls "their growing drawing virus." Despite starting with a seemingly simple idea—his style is essentially thick, black line drawing on white backgrounds—Cox has created an extraordinarily distinct style. His work is characterized by pure chaos: full of strange symbols, odd characters, and complex scenes. Cox compares it to walking into a store and staring open-mouthed at the barrage of images, shapes, and letters on the shelves. The main goal is for the audience to spend time deciphering his doodles. Regarding the markers the artist uses, they fall into a category called "Squeezer." These markers are refillable and release a large amount of ink while in use.
