Abraham Lacalle (Spain, 1962). A painter whose artistic career began in the 1980s, he works at the intersection of figuration and abstraction.

His painting is characterized by its chromatic intensity, his personal approach to color, and his gestural style. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions, primarily in museums and galleries in Spain and New York.

His work is included in the collections of the Andalusian Center for Contemporary Art in Seville; the L’Oréal Collection, the Coca-Cola Spain Foundation, the Santander Central Hispano Foundation, and the Reina Sofía National Art Museum in Madrid; and the Es Baluard Museum in Palma de Mallorca.
