Diego Benéitez

Diego Benéitez (Spain, 1986). Born in Zamora, he received artistic training and has been working as a painter since 2010, following early years spent in urban art.

His work combines figuration and abstraction through an exploration of the landscape. In his compositions, the sky and the earth appear as two forces in constant dialogue.

He has held solo exhibitions in galleries in New York, Switzerland, Sweden, France, and Spain, and has participated in art fairs across Europe and the Americas, in cities such as Los Angeles, Miami, and London, as well as at Art Karlsruhe, the Paris Art Fair, the Lausanne Art Fair, and Art Medellín. He has received the First Prize in Painting from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Climent Muncunill Roca Prize from the Museum of Manresa, and an honorable mention in the 47th City of Alcalá de Henares Prize, and was a finalist for the BMW Prize for Painting. His work is part of the collections of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Complutense University of Madrid, the Caja España Foundation, the Bancaja Foundation, the Cruzcampo Foundation, the Manresa Museum, Paradores de España, and several city councils.
