Enrique González (Spain, 1968). A self-taught artist, he supplemented his training with various art courses. As a teenager, he was introduced to printmaking by one of his painting teachers and worked in this medium for decades. He currently creates his work primarily through painting and drawing.

After exploring movements such as abstraction, expressionism, cubism, minimalism, social realism, geometric art, and pop art, he developed a figurative style centered on the human figure, landscapes, animals, birds, and everyday objects. He reinterprets works from the history of painting, transforming them into contemporary pieces linked to Pop Art. His work reflects on life, mystery, and the human condition, and invites the viewer to participate in the interpretation of each piece.

His work is part of the collections of the Calcografía Nacional de España, the National Library of Spain, the Congress of Deputies, and the Hispanic Society of America, among other institutions.
