Samuel Salcedo is a Spanish artist (Barcelona, Spain, 1975), whose practice develops across sculpture, painting, and drawing. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and completed his studies at Manchester Metropolitan University.

His work is known for the use of industrial materials and for great technical precision in the representation of human forms, textures, and expressions. Through figures, faces, and bodies with a strong visual presence, Salcedo works with the mask, disguise, humor, vulnerability, and the human condition, combining realism, irony, and a critical view of identity.

His work is part of collections such as Fundació Vila Casas and the Bassat Collection. He has presented projects in institutions such as Moco Museum Barcelona and Museu Frederic Marès.
