MATERIALS AND CARE

 Recommendations for proper conservation of works of art:

  • Keep artwork away from direct sunlight and any other heat sources (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging artwork near areas with smoke and pollution (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We recommend protecting your artwork with a glass frame.

Avoid sudden temperature changes. It is recommended to store paintings in areas with a room temperature of 18-20°C and 50% relative humidity.

If you want to permanently illuminate the work, we recommend using cold light sources. Use a soft duster for periodic cleaning. Never use household cleaners.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping usually takes around 7 days. Shipping costs are determined based on the gallery's location and the size of the artwork. Packaging material costs are included.

Purchases made through Arte Global’s website (www.arteglobal.es) can be canceled within 24 hours. After this period, the purchase is considered final.

Eusebio Sempere was a Spanish artist. He was born in Onil, Alicante, in 1923 and died in Alicante in 1985. He studied at the San Carlos School of Fine Arts in Valencia. In 1948, he went to Paris with a grant that allowed him to see modern European art closely. There, he came into contact with styles linked to geometric abstraction, light, and visual research.

His work included painting, screen printing, gouache, sculpture, and light reliefs. He was a key figure in Spanish abstract art in the second half of the 20th century. His style was based on lines, geometric forms, optical effects, transparencies, movement, and light. He also worked with Abel Martín on the development of screen printing, an important technique in his graphic work.

His work is part of collections such as the Museo Reina Sofía, IVAM, Fundación Juan March, Museo de Arte Abstracto Español de Cuenca, MACA in Alicante, Banco de España Collection, and MoMA. His confirmed awards include the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 1980, the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts in 1983, the Alfons Roig Award in 1983, and his appointment as honorary academic by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia in 1984.
