MATERIALS AND CARE

 Recommendations for proper conservation of works of art:

  • Keep artwork away from direct sunlight and any other heat sources (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging artwork near areas with smoke and pollution (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We recommend protecting your artwork with a glass frame.

Avoid sudden temperature changes. It is recommended to store paintings in areas with a room temperature of 18-20°C and 50% relative humidity.

If you want to permanently illuminate the work, we recommend using cold light sources. Use a soft duster for periodic cleaning. Never use household cleaners.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping usually takes around 7 days. Shipping costs are determined based on the gallery's location and the size of the artwork. Packaging material costs are included.

Purchases made through Arte Global’s website (www.arteglobal.es) can be canceled within 24 hours. After this period, the purchase is considered final.

Pablo Palazuelo was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and engraver who developed his artistic practice primarily in the mid-20th century. His work is characterized by an analytical approach, the result of his desire to explore the material and symbolic aspects of the universe through geometric language. This 1970 print reflects this, in which the artist freely plays with geometric shapes, mostly open, generating a sense of fluidity, movement, and even musicality. The piece maintains its balance thanks to the use of a single color in the composition: black. The result is a unique and elegant print.

Pablo Palazuelo was a Spanish artist born in Madrid in 1915. He died in Galapagar in 2007 and is considered one of the leading figures of Spanish geometric abstraction in the second half of the 20th century. His work includes painting, sculpture, printmaking, writing, and theory, all understood as parts of the same visual and intellectual search.

His style was built through line, plane, space, color, number, and geometry. He studied architecture and kept a strong interest in ancient philosophy, Eastern thought, modern physics, and the links between mathematics and nature. In his paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, abstraction appears as a way to explore hidden structures, inner rhythms, and processes of change.

His work is part of collections such as the Museo Reina Sofía, Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Fundación Juan March, Museo de Arte Abstracto Español de Cuenca, Banco de España Collection, MACBA, Artium Museoa, Fundación “la Caixa”, and Kunsthaus Zürich. His confirmed awards include the Kandinsky Prize in 1952, the Carnegie Prize in 1958, the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 1982, the National Prize for Visual Arts in 1999, and the Velázquez Prize for Visual Arts in 2004.
