Andrés Torres Rivas (Madrid, Spain, 1991) is a Spanish artist and illustrator who graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. His work combines traditional techniques such as watercolor, oil, engraving, and graphite. His exhibitions feature everyday scenes populated by unique characters. Although the artistic technique used may seem traditional, with graphite and pen as the primary medium, the current reinterpretation of the world around us reflects the artist's subjective perspective on the collective nature of our society. In addition to graphite, Torres Rivas excels at using oil and engraving in his work, with drawing acting as an intermediary between the artist's exceptional creations. The exhibition presents a series of characters in a cosmic context that seeks to reflect the essence of the present moment.
