Arturo Moya Villén (Madrid, Spain, 1966) is a sound artist, New Media artist, curator, performer, and composer. He began his professional development in the field of electroacoustic composition, training in Barcelona with Gabriel Brncic and in Rome with Giuseppe di Giugno, thanks to scholarships from SGAE and CITE/COMETT. During those years, he began creating interactive environments that challenged the concepts of performer and music assumed in electroacoustics. During his career as a composer, his creative activity combined with his commitment to context, which led him to become president of the Spanish Electroacoustic Music Association.
