Carlos Penrider (Madrid, Spain, 1980), without having completed formal studies in Fine Arts, is a self-taught artist and draftsman who learned to draw by taking illustration and comics courses at the Escuela Superior de Dibujo Profesional de Madrid (ESDIP). Carlos Penrider's work specializes in pencil drawing, where, through mysterious atmospheres with surreal and dark themes, he seeks to describe his dreams and feelings. In his work, he seeks to tell a small story, leaving it open to the viewer's interpretation. He has participated in various group exhibitions, culminating in his first solo exhibition at Haven Gallery in New York.
