Carlos Sebastiá (Castellón, 1975), graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the University of London. His work represents a pictorial reflection on the role of oblivion as a distorting element, understanding identity as the solidification of an instant or state of permanence, and demonstrating how our mind generates spaces where the dreamlike blends with the subjectivation of reality to reproduce a new state of affairs. The artist is distinguished by an extensive international career in countries such as Austria, the United Kingdom, and China, where he obtained a residential scholarship in Shanghai from the Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with The International Arts and Culture Group (TIAC). He also has works in the DKV and Juan José Castellano Comenge collections and in the permanent collection of the UPV (University of Valencia). He is also distinguished by his extensive participation in national and international fairs.
