Christopher Grimes Projects develops site-specific works for architectural environments. We engage artists who utilize conceptual strategies to create unusual and innovative installations.
Through the development and realization of large-scale, architecturally driven projects, we aim to facilitate experimentation across all media. By establishing a relationship between architects and artists from the outset of the design process, we aim to merge their creative visions into the integrity of the finished space. This collaboration results in the creation of a contextual identity for structures and environments through impactful architectural interventions. These projects reach a wider audience outside the conventional realm of art fairs and galleries. This direction emerged from decades of working with artists whose shared interests in architecture created a common passion for architecturally based exploration.
