David Latorre is a Spanish contemporary artist born in Valencia. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where he also completed his PhD in Fine Arts in postgraduate studies. His artistic work focuses on photography, exploring themes such as landscape, architecture, and clothing. Latorre has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including the Estampa Contemporary Art Fair and the ECA International Photography Award in Riba-roja, Valencia. He has also exhibited his work at the Museo Municipal de Albacete, the Palacio de Neptuno in Madrid, and the Galería Antonia Puyó in Zaragoza, among other venues. In addition, Latorre has taught workshops on landscape at Blanca and participated in conferences on strategies and conflicts in curatorial practice at Matadero Madrid. The artist has had solo exhibitions at La Rambleta in Valencia, Galería Juan Manuel Lumbreras in Bilbao, and at the Galería Antonia Puyó in Zaragoza, where he presented his series "Tierra de sueños" in 2021. In this series, Latorre explores themes such as transformation, marketing, and metaphor through photography.
