Elisabetta Di Maggio (Milan, 1964) uses a sharp scalpel to cut diverse materials, such as paper, film, plaster, and porcelain, to create walls that become filters of time and, at the same time, visions of strength and fragility as archetypes of everyday life. Thanks to the transparency of light, her constructions take on anomalous forms, where the closure of the interiors dialogues with their imaginative potential. The volume is published in conjunction with a solo exhibition at the Bevilcqua La Masa Foundation in Venice.
