Eugenio Merino (Spain, 1975). Born in Madrid, he is a visual artist who works in sculpture, installation, and digital art. His work addresses politics, religion, consumerism, and the discourses of political and economic power.

Through satire and irony, he questions various aspects of contemporary reality, with a particular focus on human rights violations. In recent years, his practice has centered on historical memory and the legacy of Franco’s dictatorship in today’s Spanish society.

He has participated in the Venice Biennale, the 15th Cuenca Biennial, and the Riga Quadrennial, and has exhibited at venues such as Kunstverein Wiesbaden, Halle 14, WhiteBox, Les Abattoirs, B.P.S.22, Station Museum, and the Taipei MOCA. She has also participated in art fairs such as ARCO, Volta, Art Brussels, FIAC, ArtBO, and ZONA MACO. She received the Alfonso Rojas Foundation’s International Contemporary Art Prize.
