Evangelina Esparza is a contemporary artist born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1980. She graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and also studied Architecture at the National University of Rosario. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Spain, Argentina, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Sweden. Evangelina's most notable exhibitions include the AISGE Foundation in Madrid and the Brussels Parliament in 2015. She has also collaborated on projects such as The Night of the Researchers at the Royal Botanical Garden in Madrid, LaFashion Art Institute-Recicla Futuro at the French Embassy in Madrid, and the Royal Tapestry Factory in 2018. Her latest exhibition, The Night of the Galleries, took place in Malmö, Sweden, in 2019. Evangelina has been selected on several occasions to participate in the CEART Tomás y Valiente Competition, and in 2016 she was chosen to present her solo exhibition. Additionally, she has participated in fairs such as Estampa, Librarte, Just LX Lisbon (with special mention in the press), and Fig Bilbao 2019. Evangelina Esparza's work is gaining recognition, as evidenced by her presence in public and private collections both nationally and internationally. Her artistic style is highly individual, characterized by the use of vibrant colors and the creation of abstract forms that blend with the space in which they are found. Her work seeks to reflect the complexity of human beings and life in society, addressing themes such as identity, memory, time, and the relationship between the individual and the environment.
