Jaime Compairé

Painter, writer, composer, publicist, radio and television man, Jaime Compairé (Huesca, Spain) won many awards when he was young and now that he has not been so young for many years, uncomfortable with the specialization imposed by the market, he has returned to the century in which mixing pigments, inventing war machines or dissecting lizards to prove they had a soul were the same thing.
Paradoxically, convinced that the most fun is yet to come, he remains determined to find shortcuts between silver salts (a passion inherited from his grandfather, the extraordinary photographer Ricardo Compairé), digital tools, and the most expressionist forms of painting.
