Janek Zamoyski was born in 1978 and lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. He is the originator, founder, and curator of the Czulosc Gallery. This gallery is more than an exhibition space; it is a project that can be considered part of Janek's art. The initiative to organize exhibitions of young artists and create a circle around them has become a generational record. Janek Zamoyski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2004. His works are a constant exploration of the boundaries of the artistic medium, often questioning the concept of authorship and the relationship between art and society. He uses a variety of techniques and media, from painting and sculpture to installation and performance, to create thought-provoking works. In addition to his work as an artist, Janek Zamoyski is known for his role as a curator and promoter of contemporary art. With his Czulosc Gallery initiative, he has supported and introduced a new generation of Polish artists and created a space for dialogue and discussion about contemporary art. Janek Zamoyski's works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including the Venice Biennale, the Gwangju Biennale, and the Berlin Biennale. His work has been recognized with several awards and grants, including the 2009 ING Foundation Art Prize. Janek Zamoyski is an influential artist on the Polish contemporary art scene, and his work continues to inspire and challenge younger generations of artists.
