Jorge Isla (Huesca, Spain, 1992) currently resides in Madrid. A graduate in Audiovisual Communication from the San Jorge University of Zaragoza (2010-2014), in 2015 he completed a Master's Degree in Artistic Production at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where in 2016 he began his doctorate in The Contemporary Spanish Photobook. In addition to receiving a scholarship that same year from the Lens School for a Master's Degree in Author Photography Projects. His artistic practice uses photographic production accompanied by other audiovisual media with which he tackled a set of investigations based on different intangible features of reality, imperceptible to the cognitive capacity of the human being. During 2015 and 2016 she received the VEGAP 2015 scholarships, the Photoespaña 2016 Discoveries scholarship, the V Encontro de Artistas Novos scholarship in S. de Compostela, the A Quemarropa Residency in Alicante and finally the MAPA Scholarship from the LENS School. Her work has been exhibited individually at CentroCentro Cibeles, within the Lanzadera project (Madrid, 2016) -curated by Iñaki Domingo-, at the Fachada Media of Etopía (Zaragoza, 2016) and at the XV Córdoba Photography Biennial; in addition, her work has been exhibited collectively at the Museo Centro del Carmen in Valencia, the Kir Royal Gallery (Madrid), the A del Arte Gallery (Zaragoza), MuVIM (Valencia), etc.
