Jorge Thuillier is an artist born in Cádiz in 1989, whose work focuses on abstract and intangible concepts such as spirituality, memories, and mystery. Through his work, Thuillier explores vestiges of ancestral information that remain in the subconscious, as well as issues related to nature and anthropological enigmas. His art also reflects an interest in the stance we adopt toward any symbolic language, which could be described as a paradox that moves toward the hidden and inexplicable. Thuillier's work is a reflection of life itself, with all its experiences, stages, and moments. Thuillier holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, and in 2012 received first prize in the 18th National Plastic Arts Competition at the same university. He has exhibited at the Seville Arts Center in the exhibition "Que Vienen los Bárbaros" in 2012, and at the "6th UNIA Award Exhibition" at the University of Andalusia in 2013, as well as other exhibitions in 2010 and 2011. Ultimately, Thuillier's work is an exploration of the most abstract and intangible concepts, and his work is a reflection on life and human nature that attracts the viewer and invites them to reflect on the mysteries that surround us.
