José Antonio Vallejo is an artist born in Madrid in 1984 and graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2008. Since 2007, he has been working on his project "My Favorite Toy," a work in progress that draws on his own experience and emotions. He held his first solo exhibition in 2009 and earned his Master's degree in Art, Creation, and Research in 2010, which has allowed him to reinforce his discourse and make the dolls that obsess him a representation of his personal diary through the artistic pieces he has created, whether through graphics, sculptures, installations, or performances. Vallejo has participated in group exhibitions at galleries such as Báculo, Espacio8, and Menosuno, and his multidisciplinary work focuses on the construction of one's own identity through play and toys, using his experience of love as a basis. For him, it is important to unite the everyday with the transcendental, creating a process that ranges from the personal to the universal.
