Josep María Riera i Aragó

Born in Barcelona in 1954.
He entered the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona in 1973. In the 1980s, he began to develop an interest in the seabed and the sky as places to explore through submarines, zeppelins, and airplanes. Thus, he began producing works with the remains of scrapped ships, and propellers are present in his work. His travels to different countries are part of the inspiration for his works.
