Juan Manuel Castro Prieto is a Spanish photographer born in Madrid in 1958. He began his photography career in the early 1970s and graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid in 1982. Throughout his career, he has combined his personal work with commissioned photography for media and publishing. Castro Prieto is known for his poetic and evocative photographic style, characterized by the use of light and shadow to create evocative and enigmatic atmospheres. His photographs, which focus on urban and rural landscapes, as well as portraits and everyday scenes, have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around the world.
