Manuel Caeiro is a contemporary artist born in Évora, Portugal, in 1975. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Painting and his master's degree in Art and Communication. Since then, he has developed a distinguished artistic career, being recognized in various solo and group exhibitions. Caeiro has exhibited in different locations around the world, including the Palácio Vila Flor in Guimarães, Portugal; the Lurixs Gallery in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the Carlos Carvalho Arte Contemporânea Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal; and the Portuguese National Museum of Natural History in Lisbon. He has also participated in important group exhibitions, such as those at MACUF - Museum of Contemporary Art in La Coruña, Spain, and the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His solo exhibitions include Welcome to my Loft and 12,000 m2 within a T0, both held at the Carlos Carvalho Arte Contemporânea Gallery, and Casas da Caparica, at the Portuguese National Museum of Natural History in Lisbon. His group exhibitions include Fiat Lux - Lighting and Creation at MACUF - Museum of Contemporary Art and Terceira metade at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. Manuel Caeiro's work is characterized by a strong presence of color and geometry, utilizing a wide variety of techniques and materials in his artistic production.
