During the development process, Maurin reinterprets his black and white negatives, using
rare and precious metals –gold, uranium, selenium, vanadium…- which mixes with the silver emulsion of the
Baryta paper. Using the toning technique, he creates subtle nuances in the themes and subjects he portrays,
which gives it a very recognizable special light and a sensuality present in almost all of them.
