Miguel Piñeiro is a Spanish artist born in 1963 in La Coruña. He trained at the Pablo Picasso School of Arts and Crafts in his hometown and at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Madrid. Since then, he has developed a career as a painter and printmaker. Miguel Piñeiro's work is characterized by a personal aesthetic that combines figuration and abstraction. In his paintings, he uses a vibrant color palette and a loose, expressive brushstroke technique that creates textures and layers on the surface of the work. His images evoke an imaginary, dreamlike world, full of symbolism and fantasy.
