Nolvenn Le Goff is a French artist born in Mexico City in 1975. She began her artistic training in Paris, where she studied printmaking at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She also completed a study abroad program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Her work is characterized by its multidisciplinary nature, utilizing diverse media and techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation. Le Goff is interested in social and political issues and often addresses themes such as identity, memory, and history. In her work, she utilizes a minimalist and uncluttered aesthetic, which can sometimes be described as cold or distant. However, her pieces can also be emotive and evocative, utilizing materials such as glass, porcelain, and cement to create a dialogue between form and content. Le Goff has participated in various solo and group exhibitions in France, Germany, Mexico, and other countries. He has also received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Grant for Artistic Creation from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts of Mexico in 2003, the Casa de Velázquez Artist in Residence Award in 2006, and the French Institute of Latin America Research Grant in 2009. His work is part of public and private collections in Mexico and abroad.
