Peter Anton is a U.S. artist (Connecticut, United States, 1963), known for his hyperrealistic sculptures of food, especially sweets, chocolates, and desserts. His work transforms everyday consumer products into large-scale objects, full of color, texture, and visual presence.

His practice is known for its great precision in reproducing wrappers, surfaces, shine, and material details. Through these sculptures, Anton explores desire, pleasure, excess, visual attraction, and the emotional relationship we establish with food and consumption.

His work is part of collections such as the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Lisser Art Museum, Tennessee State Museum, Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. He has presented exhibitions in institutions such as Fairfield University Art Museum, Museum JAN, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Hudson River Museum, Museum Villa Rot, Museum Ritter, and Wilhelm Hack Museum.
