Rocío Gordillo is a Spanish artist born in Seville in 1976. She is known for her multidisciplinary work, which includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, and video art. Gordillo studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville and later obtained a master's degree in Graphic Design from the Seville School of Art. Her work is characterized by experimentation with different techniques and materials, and by the exploration of themes such as identity, gender, and memory. In her paintings and prints, Gordillo uses an abstract and gestural aesthetic, creating organic and evocative images that evoke emotions and sensations. In her sculptures, she works with materials such as iron, wood, and ceramics, creating abstract and figurative forms that often explore the relationship between humans and nature.
