Evru, also known as Zush and born Albert Porta (Barcelona, 1946–2025), was a self-taught Spanish artist who began his career under the guidance of gallery owner René Metras. In 1968, he adopted the name Zush and created his own universe, the Evrugo Mental State, with a personal mythology, an invented script, and a visual language shaped by imagination, the body, the mind, and transformation.

His work included painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, installation, music, digital media, and video. From the 1990s onward, he brought new technologies into his artistic practice and developed projects linked to digital creation, authorship, therapy, and viewer participation. In 2001, during the retrospective held at MACBA, Zush became Evru and defined his new artistic identity as ArtCieMist, a union of artist, scientist, and mystic.

His works are part of collections such as the Museo Reina Sofía, MACBA, MoMA, Centre Pompidou, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. His awards include the National Printmaking Prize in 1997, the Laus Award for PsicoManualDigital in 1999, the Ciutat de Barcelona Award in 2000, and the ACCA Award in 2003.
