"Bañistas", by the master Eduardo Naranjo, is an original graphic work in lithographic format directly based on his celebrated canvas "Nude Man in the Mar Menor" (1984-1987). The piece reveals the unmistakable magical and poetic realism of the Extremaduran artist, where the serenity of the marine environment and anatomical study merge under an atmosphere of enveloping and contemplative light. Eduardo Naranjo (Spain, 1944) studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Badajoz from 1957 to 1960. He continued his training at the Santa Isabel de Hungría School of Fine Arts in Seville and completed his formal studies in painting at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid. He works in painting, printmaking, and theatrical set design.

His work is explicitly linked to dreamlike magical realism and is characterized by realism, beauty, and poetry. In 1981, he returned to printmaking, which he has since alternated with painting; among his works in this medium are the series "El Génesis", created between 1983 and 1985, and thirteen prints inspired by Federico García Lorca’s "Poeta en Nueva York". He also collaborated on the set designs for "La casa de Bernarda Alba" and "Hazme de la noche un cuento".

In 1979, he was named “Best Visual Artist of the Year in Black and White". His 1993 retrospective at the Centro Cultural de la Villa in Madrid attracted nearly 250,000 visitors. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Badajoz and other venues in Cáceres, Córdoba, Seville, and Galicia.
