MATERIALS AND CARE

 Recommendations for proper conservation of works of art:

  • Keep artwork away from direct sunlight and any other heat sources (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging artwork near areas with smoke and pollution (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We recommend protecting your artwork with a glass frame.

Avoid sudden temperature changes. It is recommended to store paintings in areas with a room temperature of 18-20°C and 50% relative humidity.

If you want to permanently illuminate the work, we recommend using cold light sources. Use a soft duster for periodic cleaning. Never use household cleaners.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping usually takes around 7 days. Shipping costs are determined based on the gallery's location and the size of the artwork. Packaging material costs are included.

Purchases made through Arte Global’s website (www.arteglobal.es) can be canceled within 24 hours. After this period, the purchase is considered final.

Information about the work

Salvador Dalí (Figueres, 1904–1989), one of the most recognizable icons of the Surrealist movement, explored the creativity of the unconscious through his artistic creations, many of which were prints, such as Téléphone Mou. In this print, we see a telephone in the process of melting, which refers to one of the Spanish artist's most famous paintings, The Persistence of Memory, in which the famous soft watches appear in a state of deformation. The work also seems to reference another of his paintings, Dream, which depicts a large head supported by crutches, an element also seen in this print.
